CSX Finance Leadership Development Program
The CSX Finance Leadership Development Program (FLDP) is a highly selective, two-year rotational program designed to cultivate future leaders within CSX’s finance organization. It offers recent college graduates with strong analytical and leadership skills a unique opportunity to gain broad exposure to various aspects of the company’s financial operations.
Program Structure
The program consists of four six-month rotations across different finance departments. These rotations are strategically chosen to provide participants with a comprehensive understanding of CSX’s financial ecosystem. Possible rotation areas include:
- Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A): Developing financial models, analyzing business performance, and supporting strategic decision-making.
- Accounting: Contributing to the preparation of financial statements, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and managing financial controls.
- Investor Relations: Assisting with investor communications, preparing presentations for earnings calls, and analyzing market trends.
- Treasury: Managing cash flow, overseeing investment activities, and mitigating financial risks.
- Internal Audit: Evaluating the effectiveness of internal controls and recommending improvements to enhance operational efficiency and financial integrity.
